WHAT ARE PERIOD UNDERWEAR?

Period Underwear are special underwear that have 3 or 4  layers that hold your flow. You can use them as back up to other menstrual products such as cups, pads, tampons, disks, or wear them alone.

 HOW DO THEY WORK?

There are 3-4 layers that make up the gusset (crotch) area, including a leak-proof, water-proof last layer. It absorbs away any moisture from your body! 

IS THERE ANY RISK FOR TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome)?

 WHAT IS A GOOD AGE TO START WEARING PERIOD UNDERWEAR? 

Period underwear are safe for all ages. 

 WHAT IS BAMBLISH UNDERWEAR MADE FROM?

Our period underwear are made from natural material such as cotton, and bamboo fibers as well as spandex.

 

DO THESE UNDERWEAR LEAK?

The underwear is made to be leak-proof. It is important to know your flow and change them more frequently on heavy flow days if you do experience leaks.

DO THESE UNDERWEAR STAIN

They can stain. We recommend to rinse in cold water after use to prevent staining. 

HOW DO I WASH THESE

We recommend to rinse in cold water until the water runs clear then throw into the wash with the other dedicates or wash by hand. The heat from the dryer can ruin the integrity of the leak proof lining inside. So, it's best to hang dry

HOW LONG CAN THEY LAST? 

How you care for your underwear can determine how long they last but usually they can last from 2-4 years. 

 ARE PERIOD UNDERWEAR SANITARY? 

Yes! With good care.

DO THEY WORK FOR HEAVY PERIODS?

Yes! How long you can wear them depends on your flow. 

HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU CHANGE THEM?

Every flow is different some can go all day, and others can only wear them for a few hours before changing! 

CAN I WEAR WITH A TAMPON OR PAD?

Yes! Use alone or back up for leaks. Put them to the Test!

CAN THESE BE WORN EVERYDAY?

Yes, Since the underwear look and feel like regular underwear, they can be worn for everyday use. (Many of our customers use them daily)

 

CAN I WEAR FOR BLADDER LEAKS? 

Yes, since they are waterproof, they can protect you from light bladder leak and incontinence.

 CAN I WEAR THEM DURING PREGNANCY?

Yes, they are safe for use during as well as postpartum pregnancy.

 CAN I WEAR THEM DURING SWIMMING?

Unfortunately, our underwear are not for swimming and will not protect you against leaks in the pool.  We advise use of a menstrual cup in this case. Our Period Swimwear will be launching soon! Sign up for our newsletter to get updates and offers. 

 CAN I WEAR THESE FOR 24 HOURS?

We recommend you change them throughout the day when worn on your period. Just as you wouldn't wear a pad all day.

 DO THESE UNDERWEAR SHOW PANTY-LINES?
